4 must-try yoga asanas for people with blood pressure

Balasana

It is also called the child’s pose.

  1. Firstly, kneel on the ground while getting your toes together. Thereafter, place your hands on your thighs. Try to keep your knees apart from each other.
  2. Then you must exhale and lower the torso towards the ground.
  3. Thereafter, you must rest the belly on your thighs. Stretch your hands and make sure your head touches the mat.

Setu Bandhasana

It is also called the bridge pose.

Steps to follow:

  1. You need to lie on your back with the knees bent and keep your feet on the mat.
  2. Now keep your arms by your side and the legs hip-width apart.
  3. Then press your feet on the floor while breathing in. Next, you need to lift your hips while rolling your spine off the floor.
  4. Then you need to press your shoulders and arms on the ground to lift the chest area. Later, engage your legs and buttocks to lift a bit higher.
  5. You must hold the position for a few moments and then relax.

Baddha Konasana

It is also called the bound angle pose.

Steps to follow:

  1. You need to sit down with your legs stretched. Your hands must also rest by your side.
  2. Then bend both your knees and join the soles of both legs.
  3. You need to press the knees on the ground and then gently bend your torso to the front.
  4. Make sure not to compromise with the natural curve of your spine as you go down.
  5. Then you must inhale and exhale for a few seconds while holding this particular pose. Later, you can come back to the starting position.
